With great food and plenty of outdoor seating on the large south porch, you’ll want to sit back and enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

Hilton Head Social Bakery

There’s a reason Hilton Head Social Bakery is the #1 breakfast bakery on Tripadvisor! This little bakery has it all: a beautiful view, authentic French pastries, excellent coffee and a friendly atmosphere. The Raisin Bread (pictured above) is a brioche dough with a creamy raisin filling. Croissants are a favorite, and they have savory options too.

This hidden gem has no seating inside, but there are breakfast tables overlooking the marina outside!

Location:  Shelter Cove Harbor (17 Harborside Lane). You can’t see it from the street or parking lot, but walk along the sidewalk past the Neptune statue and turn right. It’s just before we get to Scott’s Fish Market.

Watusi Cafe and Coffee Shop

For brunch overlooking the water, you can’t beat Skull Creek Dockside. There’s a full menu for Sunday brunch and lunch, with favorites like steak and eggs, lobster quiche, fried chicken and waffles, as well as brunch cocktails at the well-stocked outdoor bar. Dine on the terrace or inside in their dining room.

Skull Creek Boathouse

Near Dockside, the Skull Creek Boathouse is a popular spot on the island. The weekend brunch menu includes a Sunday breakfast buffet, as well as breakfast sandwiches (including a breakfast burger!) and all traditional breakfast dishes.
