Capital One Venture Miles are a frequent flyer program for consumers with an interest in travel and luxury. They allow users to accrue miles which can be transferred 1:1 to the Choice Hotels loyalty program. A lot of work went into this partnership between two companies, but it was ultimately successful because both parties were willing to do what it took.
The “capital one venture hotel partners” is a partnership between Capital One and Choice Hotels that allows users to transfer their Capital One Venture Miles to Choice Hotels.
Capital One Venture Miles can now be transferred to Choice Hotels at a 1:1 ratio.

I am compensated for the content and several links on my site. Citibank, American Express, Chase, Barclays, and Capital One are all advertising partners on this site. My advertising partners have not reviewed, authorized, or supported any of the thoughts stated in this article. I don’t write about all credit cards; instead, I concentrate on miles, points, and cash back (and currencies that can be converted into the same). The offers and advantages described on this website are subject to the terms.
The Capital One Venture X card was perhaps the most interesting new card of 2021. Their points, like those from the bank’s other miles cards, now transfer 1:1 to a range of frequent flyer programs, an enhancement made last spring.
Capital One said Choice Privileges will become a transfer partner in late 2021 at the same time they upgraded to 1:1 transfers with most partners. They were a few days late on that, but it’s now online.
Capital One miles may now be transferred 1:1 to the following destinations:
- Air Canada Aeroplan, Singapore Airlines Krisflyer, Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles, Avianca LifeMiles, TAP Air Portugal Miles&Go are all members of the Star Alliance.
- British Airways Executive Club, Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, Finnair Plus, and Qantas Frequent Flyer are all part of the oneworld alliance.
- Air France KLM Flying Blue, Aeromexico Club Premier are members of the SkyTeam alliance.
- Emirates Skywards, Etihad Guest are non-alliance airlines.
- Wyndham Rewards and Choice Privileges are two hotel loyalty programs.
EVA Air Infinity MileageLands accepts Capital One miles at a 2-to-1 ratio. They also have a 2-to-1 transfer into ALL Accor Live Limitless.
Though there are use cases, Choice Privileges is a specialized partner for gaining value. They have aspirational redemptions that are frequently ignored, such as the Ascend Hotel Collection. Choice Privileges is also an American Express and Citibank transfer partner.
The majority of individuals will not utilize this or Wyndham Rewards, the program’s two hotel transfer partners. It confirms my belief that hotel transfers aren’t worth nearly as much as airline transfers, owing to the fact that hotel systems are often revenue-driven and employ inflated currencies. The only good hotel partner for transfer currencies is Hyatt (Chase, Bilt). Regardless, it’s great to see the Capital One program continue to expand.
