It’s been more than a year since Disneyland closed its doors, but it’s now ready to welcome back its loyal guests. Some of the rides remain closed, but enough are open that the park is welcoming visitors. It has changed since the last time you were there, but much is the same. There are new restaurants, upgraded stores, and an all-new presentation of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

After more than one year, Disneyland finally reopened its doors to guests after a series of extreme weather events over the past twelve months. The Anaheim amusement park, which attracts more than 17 million guests each year, has been closed since it was damaged by a major earthquake last year. But after the park had been completely repaired, it was forced to close again last week by a series of storms that led to flash flooding and mudslides in the area.

The Disneyland Resort has officially reopened. The first visitors to the station were greeted by members of the troop who stood along the main street waving and saluting them.

When the number of COVID-19 cases in California began to decline, the restrictions were lifted and the theme parks opened on the first day. April 2021 for reopening to California residents. To bring back team members during the pandemic and train them in new safety measures, the Disneyland Resort has scheduled the reopening of its theme parks and Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa for late April.

The 30. April was the first official opening day of the theme parks, and people lined up hours in advance to be among the first guests.

The joy was palpable among the team members and visitors, many of whom were moved to see the parks filled with guests again.

People planning to visit the parks should be prepared for COVID-19 screening procedures, health checks and security checks.

Visitors should also ensure that they have purchased tickets for the theme parks in advance and that they have made reservations prior to arrival at the theme parks.

Currently, the Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure theme parks are only open to California residents and visitors must show proof of residency.

Right now, the parks are only open to a limited percentage of those with tickets and reservations, meaning crowds and social distance are pretty easy to maintain.

Masks are mandatory and mobile ordering of food and drinks is encouraged.

The app has several new features that make it easier to plan your visit, including virtual waiting lists for restaurants.

Guests can also join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Resistance uprising from 7 a.m. on. Disneyland ticket holders and Park Hopper ticket holders with Disneyland reservations can join the virtual queue for the attraction from any location, they do not have to be in the park. Those with park tickets beginning at California Adventure will have the opportunity to join the virtual queue at noon.
