The Chase Aeroplan credit card’s name is now confirmed to be “Aerogold.”

The “air canada chase points” is a leaked document that contains information about the new Chase Aeroplan credit card.

Details Of The New Chase Aeroplan Credit Card Have Been Leaked

on November 10, 2021 by Gary Leff

The new Chase Aeroplan credit card, which will be available next month, has been leaked, according to Doctor of Credit. A spokeswoman for Air Canada Aeroplan verifies the information, but cautions that what has been released so far is just a tiny portion of the card’s functionality, and explains how the first bonus will operate.

“An email was issued to select members [that] linked to a test website that provided some facts about the card, including the launch offer and earn rates,” according to the report.

Bonus at the Start

“Two Welcome Flight Rewards worth up to 100,000 points” is the card’s first perk. This is what it means:

  • 2 certificates with a total value of up to 50,000 points each
  • within 3 months after spending $4000

Our “up to 100K points” launch offer includes two 50K Welcome Flight Rewards that can be used toward a single-passenger Aeroplan redemption in any cabin and for any redemption amount. This implies that if your trip required 65,000 points, you could use a 50K Welcome Flight Reward to cover the remaining 15,000 points. It also implies that if you apply a 50K Welcome Flight Reward to a 45,000-point route, the whole certificate will be deemed utilised.

Those who joined the card’s waitlist will get an extra 10,000 miles and 10 eUpgrade credits.

Getting Paid To Spend

The card is worth:

  • 3 times the amount spent on Air Canada
  • 1x discount on all other purchases
  • For every $2000 spent, you will get 500 points (up to 1500 bonus points per month)

This is particularly intriguing since it is a new. Each $2000 spent earns you 25 miles every dollar, up to a maximum of $6000 each month. If you do everything in bonus categories, you may get 3.25 points per dollar spent on groceries and eating, which is a terrific deal.

Benefits of Air Canada

The card comes with Aeroplan 25k elite status (first tier elite) for the next year, which you may retain if you spend $15,000 per year.

When traveling Air Canada, cardmembers get a free first checked bag for themselves and up to 8 passengers on the same reservation.

Aeroplan From Air Canada Is A Beneficial Program For Americans

Because Aeroplan is a transfer partner of Chase, American Express, and Capital One, elite members of Air Canada Aeroplan receive significant discounts on award redemption through “Priority Rewards.” This program will be useful for those with large balances with Chase, American Express, or Capital One. In addition, Chase is preparing to offer a new Aeroplan credit card in the United States.

With no fuel surcharges and access to both Star Alliance airline rewards and award travel across a large network of partners, Aeroplan award redemption is incredibly convenient (even Etihad). Furthermore, when redeeming for business class awards on Air Canada, a 10,000 to 12,000 point premium gives you a business flex reward, which includes access to two of North America’s premier business class lounges, the original Signature Suite in Toronto and the one in Vancouver.

We’ll see what else the card has to offer in the future.

We’ve seen a few more perks on Air Canada’s Canadian co-brands, and we’ll find out what else the U.S. card has to offer soon enough, since applications are expected to go live next month.

More From the Wing’s Perspective
