If you’ve ever been to an MSC cruise ship, you know that their itinerary is based on the real-life experiences and people they encounter, combined with the captain’s experiences and people he encounters. And just as a captain’s experience is the foundation for the route a ship will sail, the experiences and people MSC encounters in different countries are the foundation for the different destinations they visit.

The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is a global shipping company that has been operating for over 50 years. They started in the 1950s as a company that operated merchant ships and ferries between Italy and Greece, but have since branched out to operate private cruise liners on the high seas. MSC Cruises is headquartered in Genoa, Italy and its ships operate mainly on the Mediterranean Sea, but they also have cruise ships that travel to north Atlantic ports such as the UK and USA.

MSC Cruises, a global cruise line, has a new ship on the way. The MSC Seaside is an all-new ship that will be the first MSC ship in the Americas . She’ll be a sister ship to the MSC Seaside, which is based in Europe and has been sailing for a few years now. The MSC Seaside is scheduled for delivery in April 2017, and it should be in the northern Caribbean waters, during the summer, in the same time as the MSC Seaside.. MSC Cruises has completed its maiden test voyage from Florida aboard the MSC Meraviglia cruise ship. This is the cruise line’s first test voyage, and it’s a big step toward restarting operations from the United States.

The MSC Meraviglia has completed its trial cruise.

On Tuesday, the MSC cruise ship arrived in PortMiami after successfully completing the cruise line’s maiden test voyage. As part of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention standards, the ship conducted a three-night simulated voyage. MSC Meraviglia visited Nassau and the exclusive cruise line island of Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, both in the Bahamas, during the trip.

MSC Cruises USA President Rubén Rodrguez stated:

“We are getting closer to bringing our guests back to sea from the U.S., and come August 2, they will finally have the opportunity to again enjoy everything they know and love about our rich experience, with gourmet dining, world-class entertainment and immersive experiences on board.“

“And, since many of our visitors are still unfamiliar with Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, they may now visit our natural paradise while sailing The Bahamas, spending the day and evening enjoying sports like as paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, and more.”

“We are thankful to our volunteer passengers who assisted us in reaching this important milestone, showing the strength of our procedure to safeguard our guests, crew, and the places we visit, as well as the wonderful cruise vacations we provide.”

Several essential procedures were in place during the trip to ensure the safety of the passengers and staff. Indoor masking, social distance, and increased sanitization were among the protocols. The dining room, specialized restaurants, events, and entertainment were all available to passengers, as was most of the cruise experience.

When it comes to restarting operations, MSC Cruises is one of the most experienced cruise lines. Since 2020, the cruise company has been one of the few to operate on a limited basis, and it now has more cruise ships in service than any other.

MSC Cruises is resuming service in the United States.

Now that MSC Meraviglia has completed her test sailing, the ship will become the first in the fleet to restart from the U.S. on August 2, 2021. The ship will begin with 3- and 4-night cruises to The Bahamas, featuring Ocean Cay. The ship will then add 7-night cruises on September 18 to The Bahamas & Caribbean.

MSC Divina will begin sailings from Port Canaveral on September 16 with 3-, 4-, and 7-night itineraries. Once cruises begin, strict procedures will be in place, including testing for all passengers at embarkation.
