One of the latest is the Paradisus brand, which has opened its newest resort, the Reserve, in Jamaica. The Paradisus brand has made a name for itself as one of the most luxurious all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, with a loyal following of guests. In an effort to continue to deliver a premium experience for clients, the company has launched a new program called The Reserve, a program that will only be offered at Paradisus-owned and -managed resorts. The Reserve aims to provide guests with an upgraded experience – they will have access to more amenities, world-class spa treatments, a private concierge, and special events and dining experiences. “Reserve” members will also be able to enjoy a private check-in, private pool areas, and exclusive restaurants. Paradisus by Meliá has announced the launch of The Reserve, an enhanced guest experience at every Paradisus hotel.

Reserve, formerly known as Royal Service and Family Concierge, has merged these separate services into one exciting vacation experience for adults, families and groups. The Reserve offers the highest level of accommodations at each resort, including spacious suites with the latest technology and luxury amenities, as well as the highest level of service within the brand, including exclusive amenities and VIP services.

Guests who book The Reserve can take advantage of special concierge services, including private check-in and check-out, in-room aromatherapy, personalized bed service, personalized event and restaurant reservation assistance, access to the private pool and beach club with personalized service, and access to special resort activities, such as cooking and glamping sessions on the beach.

The reserve offers opportunities for adults and families. Adults have access to adult-only areas at each resort, including an exclusive restaurant, check-in/check-out lounge, pool and beach.

2021 is an exciting time for Paradisus by Meliá, said André Gerondeau, chief operating officer of Meliá Hotels International. Welcoming our guests back as part of the Stay Safe with Meliá program also gives them the chance to experience special, luxurious service at The Reserve. This year, we also launched the new Paradisus Romance Wedding and Romance Program, which offers guests enhanced packages to experience love at our resorts.

In addition to these brand-wide updates, Paradisus has also made changes to its Riviera Maya hotel. Paradisus Playa del Carmen has renamed the family section of the resort. The hotel, previously called Paradisus La Esmeralda, will now be called Paradisus Playa del Carmen. There are 506 spacious suites in this part of the resort, including 188 rooms in The Reserve. Sixty-eight of the Reserve’s 188 suites are suites with direct access to private pools. The resort also has a children’s area with supervised activities for kids 14 and under, a playground and a tropical-themed water park with three pools, giant water buckets and five slides for kids of all ages. Guests of the Paradisus Playa del Carmen also have access to 11 restaurants and 8 bars.

The adults-only section of the resort remains the Paradisus La Perla, with 393 spacious suites, including 150 The Reserve rooms. Fifty-eight of the 150 suites on the reserve are suites with direct access to private pools. Guests at both resorts can book The Reserve and enjoy superior accommodations, exclusive services and amenities, and adult-only pool and beach access. In addition to the 11 restaurants and eight bars for everyone, adults can dine exclusively in six restaurants and six bars, each with its own flavor and personality.
