For a second time, Princess Cruises is now bringing together the best of modern technology with the charm of a Victorian-era ship to create a remarkable experience for both travelers and tourists. The first of its kind, the original Golden Princess® arrived on the West Coast in 2002 and the first of its sister ships, the Golden Princess® upon the scene in 2007. Princess Cruises has partnered with Seattle-based engineering company, Seattle-based engineering company, NV Energy , to bring a state-of-the-art bus system to the brand new ship.

Princess Cruises is a cruise line that’s been around since the 1960s. It’s best known for its trademarked “Royal Romance” cruises, but it also offers a variety of other cruises including transatlantic and Caribbean cruises. What’s notable about the company is that it’s the largest cruise line based in the United States. It currently operates out of Seattle and Portland.

The iconic cruise line, Princess Cruises, has announced that they will be returning to the U.S. market by launching a new ship by 2019. The ship will be based out of the Port of Seattle, which is where Princess Cruises had its first U.S. home in the 1980s, before they were forced to move to Alaska to find room for the massive cruise ship.. For the first time in almost two years, Princess Voyages is resuming cruises. After a lengthy wait, the Carnival-owned cruise company can finally resume cruise vacations, beginning with the Majestic Princess departing Seattle, Washington.

The Princess cruise ship is not only the first in the fleet to depart from the United States, but it is also the first in the globe. After 500 days on hold, the vessel left the Port of Seattle at 6:00 p.m. local time. The ship is on a seven-day trip across Alaska, including stops in Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan, as well as spectacular vistas of Glacier Bay.

The build-up began on Friday, July 23, when Princess Cruises and its sister company, Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Cruises & Princess Jan Swartz, the cruise line’s president, and Donald Arnold, the parent company’s president, were both present at the occasion.

Swartz paid a visit to the Majestic Princess in Seattle on Saturday, just one day before the ship’s departure. She greeted the whole team and gave a speech in the main atrium, thanking them everyone for their efforts and empathizing with their difficulties.

Guests were welcomed on board the Majestic Princess at Pier 91 today following a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the ship’s resumption of service. Guests will have access to all of the ship’s facilities, and the ship’s Medallion Class technology, which includes OceanMedallion wearable devices, provides a completely touchless experience.

The Majestic Princess is back at sea due to Senators Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan, Congressman Don Young, and Governor Mike Dunleavy’s tireless efforts to reopen Alaska to cruise tourists. The Alaska Tourism Restoration Act allows cruise ships to temporarily circumvent the Passenger Vessel Services Act and avoid calling at a foreign port while leaving the United States.

The Majestic Princess, one of the fleet’s newest ships, is traveling with fully vaccinated passengers to guarantee that everyone on board is safe. The ship will continue to sail Alaska from Seattle, with 10 voyages scheduled until September 2021.

For the first time on July 24, sister line Holland America resumed voyages from Seattle aboard Nieuw Amsterdam. Celebrity Millennium began service from the port on July 23, offering cruises to Alaska. The Serenade of the Seas, operated by Royal Caribbean, was the first cruise ship to begin Alaska sailings from the port on July 19. Carnival Miracle will be the next ship to resume service on July 27.
