For those who are planning to visit Qatar in December 2017, you will find more and more comfortable hotels in the country. Hotels that have opened in the past two months (and some that opened in the past one month) include the Casa, the A-Leisure, the Mövenpick, the JW Marriott, the Noor Resort, the Sheraton, the Four Points by Sheraton, the Novotel and the Holiday Inn.

Qatar is taking the world by storm. Just five years after it’s reemergence as a major player in the world of tourism, the tiny but wealthy nation is already set to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. To help the country prepare for the influx of visitors it is constructing more than 100 hotels around the country.

Qatar is preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, adding 105 new hotels and apartments to its already extensive portfolio of guest facilities.

The overall goal of these new hotel facilities is to increase Qatar’s appeal to a wide range of travelers while providing world-class hospitality. This rapid growth in the sector is supported by the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) as part of its mission to position the country as a leading global destination.
