Riviera River Cruises is a cruise line that specializes in luxury European cruises, but sometimes operates cruises in countries outside of Europe. The company has been around since 1966, and has many ships, both large and small. Riviera also has a large presence in the travel agency community, partly due to the fact that many travel agents are members of travel advisory boards, and receive discounts and other perks as a result. The company is offering travel advisors an onboard credit of $100 and a Free Cruise Family (FAM) for travel advisors in the month of September. This FAM offer is valid for travel advisors who book a new Riviera cruise with Riviera in September.

As the travel industry gears up for the busy summer season, Riviera River Cruises is offering travel advisors incentives, including Friends and Family discounts, to help recruit new clients before the travel rush begins. Travel advisors who book clients on Riviera’s Avantgarde class voyages between May 1 and June 30 will receive $100 (per cabin) in onboard credit for each booking, as well as $500 (per booking) in Friends and Family discount vouchers.

WHY? In honor of Travel Advisor Reward Month, Riviera River Cruises is giving travel advisors the chance to experience a river cruise in Europe for just $499 (or even free) when they book clients for cruises of eight days or more in 2021 or 2022. Their customers also get a €400 ($482) on-board credit when they book through a travel consultant in May. – Lori Baratti, editorial assistant.

In honor of Travel Counsellor Appreciation Month and National Travel Counsellor Day on the 5th. In May, Riviera River Cruises is offering promotions for $499 or free FAM cruises for consultants and up to €400 ($482) in on-board credit for their guests.

Throughout the month, advisors who book an eight-day or longer European river cruise for a client in 2021 or 2022 can win a FAM cruise of their choice for $499 per person for themselves and a companion. Additional bookings made within 90 days of the FAM may result in a refund to the consultant and facilitator. As part of the Credit on Board promotion, Advisor guests receive up to €400 ($482) in cabin credit that can be spent on lounge and restaurant drinks, spa or salon treatments, boutique souvenirs or even tips.

At Riviera, we have always supported travel advisors, and this is our way of thanking them and their customers for choosing our river cruise line, said Marilyn Conroy, Executive Vice President of North American Sales and Marketing for Riviera River Cruises. The FAM promotion is an affordable and potentially free way for advisers to experience one of our European river cruises first-hand, and the on-board credit promotion allows their clients to spend a little extra on their own holiday. We appreciate all that advisers do for us and hope that they and their clients can benefit from these offers.
