Peace and quiet on a farm (Photo: newfarmholidays.co.uk)
This independent family campsite in Lincolnshire is located on the Edwards family farm near Boston. The family has operated a farm in Wrangell since 1700. Today, New Farm Organics, a certified organic farm since 1988, produces organic grains, vegetables and beef. The Edwards love camping themselves and decided to start a camping business so others could enjoy the beauty of living on beautiful farmland. There are many options, from camping tents to bell tents, and you can also choose a location in the countryside or in a forest for your own tent.

Big Sky Hideaway is a modern and enjoyable campsite in Lincolnshire, ideal for families, especially with young children. The ecological site has 15 campsites with fireplaces, space for recreational vehicles and even a school bus turned into a madhouse to sleep! A group of furry alpacas also live on the property, and the cabin offers a combination of sleeping and meeting alpacas. In keeping with the owners’ message of sustainability, 2,000 trees will be planted on 14 acres, and visitors will be able to participate in the planting, which is educational and fun for families. It’s homeschooling I can handle!

JUBILEE PARK, SPA
This very well organised and popular campsite has many facilities including a heated outdoor pool and children’s pool! This is very handy for a family that has 73 grassy areas with electrical outlets (when your teen needs to charge the ipad!). Lincolnshire Campsite is a five minute walk from the centre of Woodhall resort and is set in beautiful woodland surroundings. This area is highly recommended for camping in Lincolnshire and this campsite is widely regarded as one of the best. They currently have a spot for this summer, but I’m sure they won’t last long….
The advantage of this Lincolnshire campsite is that it is very close to the city of Lincoln, so you can visit some of the best sights on your trip if you wish. The mighty Cathedral of Lincoln is just 14 miles from Woodhall Spa. Walk over the steep hill and feel it burn. Don’t worry, there’s a great fudge shop upstairs! The town of Woodhall Spa itself also has some quirky attractions, such as the fun Woodhall Spa Secret Spy Mission, a treasure trail for children. Also nearby is Cinema in the Woods, a traditional cinema that has been around since the 1920s and is now the only public cinema in the UK to operate with a rear projection screen. The family business still offers an old-fashioned ice cream service and musical interludes on the traditional organ. Who would have thought that this hidden gem was in the woods of Lincolnshire?
