Royal Caribbean Cruises ’ fleet of 29 ships now includes two more vessels that have received conditional sailing certificates from The Bahamas Ministry of Transport and the Turks and Caicos Islands Minister of Transport. These include the Royal Caribbean International (RCCI) newest cruise ship, Majesty of the Seas, and the Royal Caribbean International’s second Dream, the Fantasy.

Royal Caribbean International has two more Royal Caribbean ships on their way to the ocean. The British-built cruise line’s Rhapsody of the Seas (Line Class) and Allure of the Seas (Allure Class) will be sailing the Caribbean this November and December.

The Royal Caribbean line—known for its lavish amenities and large ships—has been in the news lately because of a series of accidents that have been ravaging in the service industry. Long-time cruise line Royal Caribbean International (RCLI) has been hard hit, as have rival lines Celebrity Cruises and Princess Cruises. As a result, the parent company, Carnival Corporation, has taken a hit in its stocks. But the company has been trying to turn that around with the release of two new “all-inclusive” ships, the Anthem of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued Conditional Sailing Certificates to two additional Royal Caribbean ships (CDC).

The event celebrates the return of Symphony of the Seas, the world’s biggest cruise ship. The Oasis-class ship will begin sailing trips to the Caribbean on August 14th, departing from Miami. When she sails from Seattle to Alaska on August 13, the Quantum-class Ovation of the Seas will be the second Royal Caribbean cruise ship to do so.

Royal Caribbean makes test cruises seem simple.

During the months preceding up to the resumption of cruises in the United States, much emphasis was put on the criteria that cruise ships had to meet in order to begin sailing. One requirement is that ships conduct tests to ensure that they can travel with both vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers.

Cruise companies run ships with volunteer passengers on test voyages to show their new procedures work. Volunteers may range from cruise company workers to travel brokers to ordinary citizens. The test cruises are part of the CDC’s route, which allows Royal Caribbean to sail with both vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers.

So far, Royal Caribbean has shown that the test voyages aren’t a problem at all, and that they actually enable the cruise line to conduct a shakedown for each ship. Eight distinct Royal Caribbean ships have undergone test sailings.

On July 30, the Ovation of the Seas embarked on her first voyage. The 168,666 gross ton, 4,180 passenger cruise ship returned to Seattle on August 4 after a 5-night test voyage. Meanwhile, the Symphony of the Seas finished her sea trials. On August 1, she set off from PortMiami on a three-day journey that included a stop at A Perfect Day At CocoCay.

Three additional Royal Caribbean ships are set to go on test voyages, according to the company. Oasis of the Seas will depart from Cape Liberty on August 22, and Liberty of the Seas will depart from Galveston on September 18. The Mariner of the Seas is presently departing from Port Canaveral on a test trip.

The Ovation of the Seas is on its way to Alaska.

When she departs from Seattle this week, Ovation of the Seas will join Serenade of the Seas in Alaska. Starting August 13, the Ovation of the Seas will sail from Seattle on seven-night voyages to Skagway, Sitka, and Juneau, Alaska. The ships will also cruise via the inner channel, providing passengers with a spectacular view, particularly from the 360° North Star.

All passengers aged 12 and above who can show evidence of COVID-19 immunization, with the last dose of their vaccine given at least 14 days before departure, may cruise to Alaska aboard the Quantum-class ship until October. Guests under the age of 12 will be subjected to testing before to the trip, at the terminal, and aboard.

The World’s Largest Cruise Ship Is Now In Service

On August 14, the world’s biggest cruise ship, Symphony of the Seas, will resume revenue service with revenue passengers, departing from PortMiami on a 7-day Western Caribbean trip to Costa Maya, Roatan Island, Cozumel, and a Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Bahamas.

She’ll alternate between trips on the Western, Southern, and Eastern coasts of the Caribbean. Her Eastern Caribbean cruises will visit St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and a Perfect Day at Cococay, while her Southern Caribbean cruises will visit Aruba, Haiti, and Curacao. Before embarking on the Southern and Western Caribbean Cruises, Royal Caribbean strongly advises all eligible passengers aged 12 and above to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The cruises stopping at St. Thomas will need guests to be properly immunized. COVID testing will be required of guests under the age of 12 before, during, and after the trip.
