And will the new flights really get you there faster?United Airlines expects travel demand to increase through the end of 2021 and is planning more flights for the winter holidays to cities in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
The airline plans to add about 150 flights to warm-weather destinations in the U.S. in 2019, as well as a 30 percent increase in flights to Latin American beach and tourist markets. From November 2021 to March 2022, it will operate 137 more flights than during the same period in 2019, to destinations including Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia and Nevada.
United has been preparing for the return of air traffic for more than a year by adjusting schedules and aircraft availability to meet current demand thanks to close coordination between network planning and field operations teams.

-to 14 additional daily flights from Denver to cities like Charleston, Fort Lauderdale and Savannah.
-Up to 12 additional daily flights from Chicago to cities like Key West, Las Vegas and San Diego.
up to 11 additional daily flights from Washington to cities like Charleston, New Orleans and Phoenix.
-to seven additional daily flights from Houston to Florida, including Miami, Orlando and Palm Beach.
-to four additional daily flights from Los Angeles to Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers.
-Up to four additional flights per day from Cleveland to Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers.
-up to three additional daily flights from San Francisco to Orlando and Fort Myers
Recognizing that customers also want to reunite with family and friends in warmer-weather international destinations this winter, United is also expanding service to the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America by 30 percent starting in 2019. This includes 12 new routes from major cities such as Denver, Los Angeles, New York/Newark, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., to scenic destinations such as Belize City, Belize; Cozumel, Mexico; Liberia, Costa Rica and Nassau, Bahamas.
