United and Oxy Low Carbon Ventures today announced a partnership with Cemvita Factory to commercialize SAF produced by a groundbreaking new method using carbon dioxide and synthetic microorganisms. United has also declared a stake in Cemvita Factory. Cemvita Factory was founded by OLCV, a subsidiary of Occidental (Oxy).

United and OLCV have already collaborated on innovative climate change strategies. UAV and OLCV will collaborate to support development efforts at Cemvita to convert CO2 into hydrocarbons for SAF. UAV and OLCV want to create a joint venture to market the technology if performance objectives are met. This covers programs like as pilot and demonstration plants, engineering studies, and financing and running SAF plants.
