The World Of Hyatt recently announced that they have added 20 more small luxury hotels, bringing their total to a total of 170. These hotels are all located in countries such as the United States, China, India, and Kuwait. As of now, there are no plans for new hotels in Europe, but the company has stated that this is an area that they are also interested in exploring.

World of Hyatt is the luxury hotel brand that started out with just one property: Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. Since then, the company has expanded into a full-fledged chain with over 1,000 hotels in 80 countries around the globe. In addition to the US, Hyatt has hotels in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa. With the latest addition of 20 Hyatt Regency hotels in unique destinations, World of Hyatt now boasts 120 locations.

The new properties include the Mango Tree, the Daffodil, the Holly, the Lilac, the Orchid, the Plum, the Green Spruce, the Tulip, the Lotus, the Amaranth, the Ivy, the Bulbine, the Calabash, the Pansy, the Ivy, the Ilex, the Blueberry, the Peony, the Oak, the Olive, the Cryptomeria, the Camellia, the Pinus, the Weeping Willow, the Camellia, the Ficus, the Arbutus, the Eucalyptus, the Hawthorne, the Yucca, the Mangosteen, the Red Magnolia and the Golden Kite. ~~. World of Hyatt has added 20 more small luxury hotels to its portfolio.

on July 15, 2021 by Gary Leff

Although not all of the hotels are part of this agreement, Hyatt has a relationship with SLH Hotels that allows you to earn points and status at certain properties (when booking paid rates via Hyatt) and redeem points at those same locations.

The alliance has expanded to encompass approximately half of the SLH hotels just before the epidemic. Twelve additional hotels were added earlier this year.

And today, Hyatt announced the addition of 20 more hotels to the alliance, one of which does not allow for point redemptions. But it’s not a hotel; it’s an Ecuadorian “sustainable marine adventure.” Ok…

While category 7 (30,000 points per night) is the highest costly redemption for a heritage Hyatt hotel, new entrants to the program, such as SLH Hotels, may be priced at category 8. (40,000 points per night). Check prices since many seasonal resorts justify that redemption fee during their peak but not at other times of the year, so you’ll want to pay cash and see whether booking via a premium travel adviser includes extra value-added services.

When you book a paid stay at a participating SLH hotel via Hyatt, you get:

  • Wi-Fi is available for free.
  • Every day, a complimentary continental breakfast is served.
  • Upgraded Room (one category at check-in if available)
  • Check-in as soon as possible (noon, based upon availability at check-in)
  • Check-out time is extended (2:00pm, based upon availability at check-in)

The Hyatt best rate promise does not apply, and neither does SLH’s own best rate guarantee. As a result, always compare SLH.com price to what Hyatt may be providing, or even book directly with an independent hotel.
